Pauline Garrett Walker, 85, of Acworth, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Funeral is Thursday at 2pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Reverends Harold Weatherford and Drew Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10 am.
Her husband William A. Walker, parents Andrew and Pearl Garrett, brothers Howard, Hoyt, Waldon, Douglas, and Leon Garrett, and her sister Cennia Prather preceded Mrs. Walker in death. Pauline was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Dallas and loved her church family and visiting with all her friends. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her son – Billy and Donna Walker of Acworth, daughters – Paulette Edwards, and Sue and Johnny Ragsdale of Acworth, Grandchildren - Allen Walker, Steven (Tracy) Walker, Carrie (Darin) Martin, Gary (Dominique) Edwards, Corey Ragsdale and Kimberly Partin. Great Grandchildren - Joshua Walker, Sadie Walker, Bradley Walker, Drew Martin, Tobyn Martin, Sarah Edwards, Sammy Edwards, Emily Ragsdale, Lacy Partin and Cheyenne Partin. Great Great Grandchildren - Aubrey Walker, Rebekah Walker and Grace Walker.
