

Pierre Martino Lallemand, son of Marthurin Lallemand and Prevallia Cauzeau, was born on December 2, 1945. We are saddened by his untimely passing on Saturday, November 28, 2020, just a few days shy of his 75th birthday.
Martino began his life’s journey in the Sou Basin area of Arcahaie, Haiti. He was one of four brothers and sisters. In 1969, he met and later married his forever love, Alourdes Lallemand. Together they were the nurturing parents to five children: Rosenie, Jean Bellrive, Marie “Deka”, Astride, and Islande. The family grew to include their daughter-in-law and son-in-laws: Pierre Benson Francois, Betty Edmond, Jonas Delva, and Michael Pierre; and their grandchildren: Alexandra Francois, Vladimir Francois, Brianna Natalie Lallemand, Bryan Christner Lallemand, Lynda Elizabeth Bien-Aise, Joshua Emmanuel Bien-Aise (godson), Theresa Lourdes Delva, Sydnee Elizabeth Delva, Cyanne Michelle Pierre, Christian Martin Pierre, and Candice Mya Pierre.
In Haiti, Martino was a trained tailor. At the age of 33, he immigrated to the United States where he worked as a welder to take care of his family His wife and children joined him in New York and they all later moved to Georgia. Boss Martino loved Haiti. He built a home in Sou Basin and always looked forward to his yearly visits. He enjoyed having heated discussions about politics, watching soccer matches and basketball games or couponing with his wife.
Martino always made himself available to celebrate and support his family and friends during joyous and sad times. He is survived by his sister, Clotilde and nieces and nephews: Olnique, Fania, Wilkenson, Roseline, Ashlyn (goddaughter),and Evania. He will be surely missed by his cousins, grandnieces, grandnephews, numerous friends, and anyone touched by his love and generosity.
He predeceased by his parents, brother Paul and sister Marie, and Carmelle.
