Ray Dillard Duncan Jr. 40, Dallas resident died Sunday, August 28 2016. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday August 31, 2016, 3:30 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw Georgia. Ray will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of coming in contact with him. He was a devoted son to his mother. He loved her and went over and above what a average son would do to make sure his mom was taken care of. With not just comforts and help but with a love he had in his heart, to Ray his mother was his world. If you knew Ray you knew his family meant everything to him, he cherished every family get together. Even though he may have grunted and groaned about a spilt drink or picking up empty cans or bottles, he would not have traded one minute of spending time with everyone together. His family was more than a family and closer than anyone can imagine. Unless you had the privilege of being a part you could never understand the bond. As a companion and surrogate father you could not have asked for anyone better. God brings few people into your life that touches your soul and takes you and your children in unconditionally and just loves you no matter. As a friend he would drop everything to help you, make you laugh and be your biggest supporter. If you had the honor of knowing Ray Duncan you are truly blessed. Ray will be missed dearly and it will be hard to fill the hole he left in everyone's heart. Ray is preceded in death by his father; Ray Dillard Duncan Sr., survived by his mother; Brenda Duncan, companion; Lori Dunagan, daughter by choice; Heather Dunagan, son by choice; Cannon Nuckols, two sisters; Gina Shedd, Sondra Smith (Cliff Morris), two nieces; Lindsay Shedd, Brittany Smith (Drew Perry), five nephews; Hunter Shedd (Tristan Padgett) , andLevi Shedd, Jesse Smith (Jessica Hooper), Matthew Smith (Courtney Wilson) and Donald Smith (Stephanie), Nine great nieces; Holly, Taylor, Lexie, Carly, Brooklyn, Kenzie, Harlee , Aliyah, Skylar, one great nephew Kolton. The family will be receiving friend and family Tuesday August 30, 2016 from 4pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
