Roger Dean Smith

Roger Dean Smith, age 76, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Roger was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Marie for 55 years, loving brother, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed baseball, working in his shop, having breakfast on a weekly bases with close friends. Roger was a simple man, his family was the most important thing in his life. Roger served his county in the United States Army, he was a SGT and a paratrooper.

Roger is survived by his wife, Marie Buckner Smith; his daughters, Shannon Masters, Michele Smith; brother Kenneth Smith (Nancy); granddaughter Brooke Masters.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents James and Eunice (Hunt) Smith; brothers, James Douglas Smith, James Paul Smith Jr., and Gary Wayne Smith.

A visitation for Roger will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, funeral service will be at 2:30 Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia 30194. Burial will follow the service,
