Samuel A Whitfield, age 74, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. Samuel was born January 18, 1944 in Seneca, South Carolina. Samuel was married 31 years to his late wife Karen. He enjoyed hunting ,fishing and gardening. He served in the United States Marines Core, and was a electrician by trade. Samuel was the middle child of five.
Samuel is survived by; brother Robert Whitfield, sister-in-law Jeni Whitfield, sister Ann Clendenin and brother-in-law John Clendenin, several nieces and nephews.
Samuel was preceded in death by his wife Karen Ruth Whitfield; father James T Whitfield and mother Mary Whitfield; brother James Whitfield and sister Brenda Folsom.
Visitation will be 12pm until 1pm with a funeral service at 1pm February 15, 2018, entombment following service at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
