So sorry to hear of your loss.  I worked with Shirley at Cub Foods in Marietta.  She was a fantastic and sweet lady and a great boss!  I know she will be be missed!  May the love of family and friends sustain you through your time of mourning.  God Bless you all.

Dear Shirley, I have found it so hard to know it has been a week today that you left this world to enter into Heaven. I know Bobby and your kids and grandchildren miss you more than anyone knows but, We miss you so much. You know I was never really good with words but here she goes. You just took me under your wings when we first met and that was all it took. Shirley you were a very special friend to Bobby and I. I have my memories of weekends at Adams Ball Park with our children, weekends playings cards at one another house,weekends at the lake, Thanksgivings and Christmas Eves togother ,vacations togother after my Bobby went to work for another company. Remember we could not go away togother as families as long as they worked in same store togother. I remember so many things but most of all how you made people fill important. I want to thank you and Bobby for letting us join your family during the past 40 years because it was a honor and a privilege to have knowned you and your family. My Sweet Dear Friend ,I Will Never Forget You Because You , Were A Very Special Person To All Of Us. We Love You So Much And That Love Will Carry Us Thru Until We See You In Heaven. I knew Shirley Priest for about a year, but I felt like I had known her forever. I thought I would share the sweet words she sent me (on her beloved Facebook) "HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of the sweetest young ladies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! My heart is truly breaking for you at the loss of your precious Shirley. Everyone that came in contact with Shirley fell in love with her. I have adored her for over 25 years, starting back in the Food Giant days. Her warmth was contagious and I will miss her so very much.

I am trully sorry for the loss of our Pelzer friend. I got to talk to Shirley at the Pelzer Reunion and we talked about the old days growing up in Pelzer.She came right up and help me and my wife at our hot dog booth. I am so thankful that we had that reunion, because Shirley got to see so many old friends. God has another Pelzer girl for a Angel!! We will surely miss you !!!
