Su was born on January 18, 1956, to Louisa & James Hott in Baltimore, MD.
Su moved to the metro Atlanta area in 1974 with then husband Chris Pitman.
Su is survived by her husband of nearly 27 years, Gordon Danniels, Dorothy Ann (sister), James Edward (brother), stepchildren Michael, Alexandria, and Nicholas, as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Su was predeceased by her father James K., her mother Louisa B., and her sisters Patsy, Mary Lee, and Betty Joan.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Su. She loved cooking for her husband, friends, and family. Su loved gardening and keeping the entrance to her subdivision beautiful with various flowers and decorations for her entire community to enjoy. Su never found a cat that she didn’t love and loved her back as well.
To honor Su’s memory, we are holding a celebration of her life on Saturday, May 06, 2023, 11:00 am at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy. NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life. In Lieu of flowers, donations have been requested to be made in memory of Su to the Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic, 12604 Crabapple Rd Alpharetta, GA 30004.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.winkenhoferpineridgefuneralhome.com for the Danniels family.
