Susie was born in Burbank, CA, where she later met her husband, Vince. Susie and Vince married on June 7, 1975. They raised their three daughters in California until a job transfer brought them to Georgia.
Susie’s joy in life was spending time with her family, most especially her grandchildren. She and Vince celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta.
She is survived by her husband, Vince, daughters Dana Anderson (Marc), Julie Gieger (Matt), and Lisa Ward (Grant), and her grandchildren Jake and Evan Anderson, Skylar, Aidan and Rylan Gieger, and Gracie Jo Ward.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at St Joseph Catholic Church, 87 Lacy Street, Marietta, GA 30060. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Vincent de Paul at https://secure.myvanco.com/L-ZKX2/campaign/C-14RCX
