

Terri, as she was fondly known, was born on April 7, 1953, to Mildred and James Wilson. She grew up in Miami, Florida, where sunbathing, games, reading, and singing were her favorite activities. Her adult professional work encompassed accounting and real estate broker, at which she excelled.
On March 20th, 1993, she married the love of her life, Herbert “Gib” Connor. The resided in Kennesaw where they became active participants in the community. In 2002, she served as president for the Cobb County Republican Women’s Club who named her Woman of the Year. Terri and her husband were members of the Church of Our Redeemer Anglican Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia for many years. One of her proudest accomplishments was her commitment as an Oblate Sister of the Congregation of the Good Samaritan.
Terri was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Her warm personality, infectious smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all who knew her. She had a passion for sewing and gardening and road trips. Those road trips with her daughter were always accompanied by loud Beatles music and stop-offs for sushi.
Terri is survived by her husband Gib; her children Steve, Adam, and Shannon; her grandchildren Rebecca, Andrew, Francesco, and Sofia; her four siblings Joan, Kathy, Mary, and Barbara; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, Terri remained resilient and preserved through it all. She was a fighter till the end, and her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all.
Her life will be celebrated in a visitation on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. A High Mass Funeral will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Church of our Redeemer Anglican Church, 2625 Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30066. Theresa will be laid to rest in Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia 30194 at a later date.
She will be missed but her family takes comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
