Virginia Lee Evans Hutchings Broyles, age 82 passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Virginia was born in Rome, Georgia to Donald and Virginia Evans. Virginia was a lady of faith and longtime member of Kennesaw Methodist Church. She was retired from the Cobb County Board of Education after having worked as a Paraprofessional at Kennesaw Elementary as well Frey Elementary. Virginia enjoyed crafting but what brought her the most joy was spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. The love Virginia shared will be cherished by her family along with the many fond memories.
Virginia is survived by her sons Scott Hutchings (Jennifer), Randy Broyles, and Robin Broyles (Pam); her daughter Leigh Stokes (Scott); her grandchildren Shane Hutchings, Ashley Hutchings (Ben), Chris Stokes (Lisa), Richard Stokes (Haley), Jenna Beckett (Derrick), Kellie Calhoun (Mark), Kevin Broyles (Genevia), and Colt Krahwinkel (Emma); her great grandchildren Paisley Beckett, Carter Stokes, Noah Stokes, Grace Calhoun, Audrey Calhoun, Ivey Calhoun, Wyatt Broyles, Isla Krahwinkel, and LoranWynn Krahwinkel.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. Following the visitation will be a Chapel service officiated by Leroy Goodwin. Virginia will be laid to rest in Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
