William Porter Headlee

Kennesaw Ga- William Porter Headlee entered into rest Sunday June 1, 2014. Porter, age 25, son of Thomas William Headlee Jr. and Alice Porter Headlee.

Porter was a native and longtime resident of Kennesaw, Ga. He was a 2007 North Cobb High School graduate. He continued his education studying business and music at Georgia Southern University where he earned his degree in the fall of 2012.

Family Members, in addition to his parents, include his sisters, Rachel Headlee, Hannah Headlee Carmichael, brother in law Jesse Carmichael; uncles, David Headlee, Jim Headlee, Stan Porter, and John Porter; aunts Kathy Headlee and Marsha Headlee.

Cousins Katie Headlee, John Headlee, Michael Headlee, Graham Headlee, Preston and Laney Porter, John David and Julia Porter, Mariah Porter, Sarah Porter, and Caitlyn Porter. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Stanley and Sarah Porter and paternal grandparents Tom and Mary Catherine Headlee.

Porter was a rare gem in the world who saw the beauty in everything and everyone- he always saw and believed in the best of people. Porter was the happy part of life and touched many lives with his tremendous smile and free spirit. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be dearly missed.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 1 p.m in the sanctuary of Mount Paran North Church of God with Pastor Mark Walker.
