William Richardson, age 85 passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. William was retired from Lockheed and stayed very involved with his community and church. He was faithful, spending time as a deacon, choir director and minister. Outside of his work, William was a skilled musician who enjoyed singing, playing guitar, and performing with the Victory Quartet. Above all else, William as a profoundly devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
William is survived by his wife, Ruthann Elizabeth Richardson; his daughter Marla Williams (David); his son Paul Richardson; and his brother Herb Richardson (Vickie), and his sister Diane Swinks (Barry Atkison); his grandchildren Joseph Pepin (Morgan) and Jennifer Rogers; his great grandchildren Harley Rogers, Greyson Rogers, Emberleigh Pepin and Everett Pepin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
William was preceded in death by his parents William L. Richardson and Lillie Boone Richardson; and his brother Bobby Richardson.
A visitation for William will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service will occur after the visitation at 3:00 PM; Reverend Richard Wilkins will officiate. The burial will follow.
