Willie T. “Bill” Nelson, Jr., 83, of Marietta, passed away Monday, August 9, 2010. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 12, 2010, 7pm from the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Rev. Thomas Nelson officiating.
Mr. Nelson was a native of Rome, Ga. and had lived in Marietta since 1951. He had retired in 1987 as a Quality Engineer with Lockheed after 36 years. He served his country during WWII in the US Navy and was a member of Mount Paran North Church of God in Marietta.

Step-Son – James Stephen Dyer of Fayetteville, Ga.
Daughter – BillieAnn Mimbs of Tennille, Ga.
Step-Daughter – Marsha Allgood of Senioa, Ga.
Brother – Wayne Nelson of Huntsville, Ala.
