With heavy hearts we share the passing of our dearly beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Danny Strong was 59 years old, a member of Niisaachewan, who started his spirit journey Saturday, January 7th, 2023 with family by his side.
He is predeceased by his love Debbie Green who we know was waiting for him with open arms, his mom Mary Jane and his grandparents Charlie & Lillian Strong.
Danny is survived by his children Vanessa (Kyle), Deanna, Craig, Rochelle (Allen), Logan, Feather (Ryan), Joseph, Tony (Gwen), Becky. His grandchildren Exavius, Gerald, Amiyah, Emmet, Xavier, Payton, David, Afeni, Millie, Danielle, Gabe, Zayah. His beautiful wives throughout the years Martina, Lillian, Marcella, Debbie. His cousins Leon, Molly, Shirley, Lisa, Louise, Barbara, Sara Jane, Catherine, Janet, Doreen, Angela, Mary Rose, Leo, Keon. With there being far to many cousins and friends to list them all, Danny loved each and everyone of you.
Danny was a strong, self taught, proud member of the caribou clan. He was a skilled outdoors man, we could always find him outside doing something such as camping, hunting, berry picking, rice harvesting, playing hockey and having an open fire with his old country songs playing aloud for all to hear. Danny loved fishing, he could be in his boat for hours anyone who got to go fishing with him always came home with a smile and a story to tell.
Although Danny would adventure off on his many adventures, he also loved to be at his home where his grandchildren would visit him. Danny loved his grandchildren so much, he’d glow with pure joy the second they walked in.
Danny loved a good ole homemade pot of soup. He took pride in helping his community in anyway that he could. Danny had a contagious smile & laugh that’ll live on with us forever. Whoever crossed his path he made sure to make you feel welcomed, with a joke, smile, hug or some of his wise words. Danny was such a happy, fun loving guy. Danny will be forever missed, his spirit will be felt and remembered always.
Pallbearers will be: Logan, Craig, Tony, Allen, Exavius, Kyle, Ryan.
