November 14, 1947 – March 12, 2025
It’s with greatest sadness we announce the passing of our mother Dorothy ‘Dot’ Metail. Mom passed away peacefully at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre on March 12, 2025.
She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Lynn (Brian), son Curtis (Rachel), sister Debbie VandenHeuvel, grandchildren CJ, Shane (Jessica), Alyssa (Dilan) and her great grandchildren Maya-Lynn and Sienna. She is also survived by the father of her children Merv Metail and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Nick and Gerry VandenHeuvel, sisters Rhonda Kantola and Pat VandenHeuvel.
