Biz grew up in and was always in the family tourist business, which included Hook's Muskie Camp at Big Narrows, Separation Lake Camp and Ash Rapids Camp. She and Colin also operated a number of small businesses out of their home and especially enjoyed building, operating and maintaining the lifts and hills at Mount Evergreen Ski Club.
Her hobbies included sewing, knitting and needle work, all at which she excelled. Many commented on her beautiful clothing most of which she made herself. She was also an avid gardener which gave her great joy.
Special thanks to Dr. Michelle Thomas for her compassionate care over the years, her home care workers especially Alana, Lisa and Lana. We would also like to thank Dr. Brad Kyle, Dr. Shannon Wiebe as well as the wonderful nurses and palliative care staff at the hospital during her brief stay. Their personal care and attention meant so much to all of us.
