Emily Ann Wagamese

Emily was predeceased by her Kookum Dorothy, Shoomis Lawrence, Uncle Roy (Peanut), Aunty Marjorie, Sister Karen, Niece Jay-Lynn, brothers Derek and Michael, Uncles, Richard, Gilbert, Horace, and Joe Wagamese.

Emily is survived by her two beautiful children Hailee and Aubree (father Frank Henry), mother Frances Fox and father David Wagamese. She is survived by her sisters Trish, Wendy (Charlie), Vikki, Gloria (Andrew), and Brother Kevin (Harmony). She is survived by her nieces and nephews Rhyse, Jayme, Brady, April, Ashley, Larissa, Nevaeh, Dreydon, Essence, Kyra, Sheldon, Shakira, Jessica, Caedence, Savannah, Brandon, Jade, Maddon, Silas Bo, Dylan and Matthew. Emily is also survived by numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins who all adored and have lasting memories of Emily, as well as her partner Alec Bird.

Emily was a beautiful loving person who loved to smile and make everyone laugh. In Emily's early years, she enjoyed going to Portage Place with her mother and older sisters and riding on the escalator endlessly until it was time to go home. Growing up, she became an avid lover of the Harry Potter movie series. One day Vikki and Emily went to the movies to watch a Harry Potter movie, Vikki vetoed this decision and they went to The Ring instead... Because of this, only up until a couple months ago, Emily would watch scary movies with her ears covered and eyes shut tight a majority of the movie. This would be something that they would joke about for years to come. Emily was known for her infectious laugh, and her playful humour. Some of Emily's hobbies included fishing, playing poker, attending bingo with her friends and sisters, or going for rides with Gloria and listening to loud music. Like many of her family members, Emily loved to indulge in Ho Ho's whenever the opportunity would arise. Emily adored all of her nieces and nephews, and loved to spend quality time with them. Emily's pride was her two daughters Hailee and Aubree, whom she loved spending time with at the park watching them play. She was a very proud mother and loved her girls more than anything. Emily had many friends that loved her just as much as her family did, who will miss her dearly.

Wake Services to begin at 12:00 noon on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Dalles Community Centre. Traditional ceremony followed by a Christian funeral service to be held at the Dalles Community Centre at 11:30 am Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Burial to follow at The Lake of the Woods Cemetery.
