Peacefully with family and friends by her side Evelyn left us on the evening of Thursday September 11, 2025.

She is survived by stepdaughter Cindy (Phil), granddaughter Laura Brick (Matt), all of Sioux Lookout, and great grandson Austin (Lisa) of Winnipeg, as well as nieces and nephews.
After graduating high school, she immediately started working at Lands and Forest, then The Ministry of Natural Resources for 36 ½ years (Ontario Government).

She was a lifelong member of The Business Girl's Curling Club, serving as Secretary and President, and a Lifelong member of the P.C. party.
Ev really enjoyed her casino trips with Art and friends. Often travelling to Las Vegas and Shooting Star Casino. A crib or poker game upstairs with friends at Grandview Villa was a highlight of her week.
Ev and Art spent many a happy hour at their camp on Scotties Island and enjoyed many hours of boating and fishing.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bowerman and the staff of Wiigwas Elder and Senior Care, for the care Ev received during her stay there and Cory from Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre for his compassion and understanding during this trying time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00am with a light luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ev's name can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, donate online at www.cancer.ca (Kenora Branch), or a charity of your choice.
