Frank Tom

May 20, 1936 – August 21, 2022

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Frank Tom Sr, age 86, of Whitefish Bay. Frank passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander & Emily, his brother Francis, sisters Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Agnes and grandson Lance.

He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Jane of 59 years, his children, Alex, Georgina, Frank Jr., Terry (Janice) and Janina. Grandchildren, Colleen (Chris), Kevin (Tammy), Alexander, Ryan, Kristen, Heather, Shane, Camryn, Keegan, Talia, Kyle, Navarro, Vanessa, Quinton, Wawatay, Autumn, Corileen, Terrick, Connie, Terriah, Mikhaela (CJ), Cassidy, Summer, Serenity, Honor and Courage, great grandchildren Jace, Kayci, Kaden, Liam “Chopper”Emma, Kyan, Kaija, Lake, Eden, Brooklyn, Amiah, Asher, Xavier, Adam, Lanayah, Jacob, Carter, Zayden, Tanner, Malik, Zyaire, and Leo, as well as many nieces and nephews; sisters Evelyn (Stanley) and Rose.

Frank spent his life fishing, hunting, trapping and anything outdoors. There was nothing more important to Frank than family. He adored all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Cecil Copenace, Ryan Tom, Kevin Tom, Alexander Tom, Shane Tom, Chris Hood and Honorary pallbearer Leo Copenace.

A wake will be held Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 & Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at Peshigoneb Community Centre. A traditional ceremony will take place on Friday, August 26th, 2022 with burial to follow, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
