James Russel MacKay
February 16, 1945 - April 26, 2013
James (Jake) passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 26th after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Jake was predeceased by his father and mother James and Cathleen MacKay and his brother Tom MacKay. He is survived by his sisters Pat (Ted) Cederwall & Arlene (Laverne) Schultz, his son David (Kelly), Grandson Haydn, his beloved dog Blue and many nieces and nephews.
Jake started out working at CJ Edwards where he worked for 13 years and then moved on to the City of Kenora spending 37 years before taking early retirement.
Jake enjoyed taking long walks with his dog, camping, woodworking and spending time in the shed with friends and family.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
