Jeffrey Hunter Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jeff Hunter announce his sudden passing.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Tamara, his beautiful daughter Shayla Kaia and his handsome son Jeffrey Curtis Hunter Jr., his parents Danny and Doreen Hunter (Greene), brother Dennis (Cheril) nephew Zachery, sister Marilyn, nephews Derek and Shane as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Jeff loved his slo-pitch baseball where he played with All4Fun with his dad and brother. Jeff enjoyed playing in the mens league in Kenora and attended many tournaments in the Treaty 3 area and throughout Manitoba where he met numerous friends and teammates.

Jeff recently discovered a passion for fishing and quickly became a professional, fishing in local tournaments and in the 2016 KBI with his Uncle Fraser. Jeff was also a passionate Winnipeg Jets fan.

Jeff also loved travelling with his family.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at the David Kejick School at Shoal Lake #39.

Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the David Kejick School with interment to follow at Shoal Lake #39.

Pallbearers will be: Jeremiah McDonald, Alexander Letander, Patrick Greene Jr., Eugene Greene, Darrin Green, Skylar Copenace, Spencer Packo and Jakson Crow-Green.

Honourary pallbearers are Kyler Greene, Brian Barker, and all his teammates and friends from the mens and mixed slo-pitch teams.
