So sorry to hear about Zio Ralph.  I loved your Dad very much and will miss him dearly.
Seems like yesterday, all the memories flooding back of our childhoods growing up, doing all those family activities together with cousins in such a great and beautiful town.  
It is sad to know when I do return to Kenora for a visit next time, there will be no visit to see Zio.  That feels unsettling already, but I will drop by and see you Zia.

A Tribute To Ralph Belfiglio

  When I heard the news of Ralph's passing, I immediately called Rosa to offer and share words of comfort and support. We spoke briefly, then she asked me if I could say a few words at this service. I want to thank you Rosa for this opportunity to speak about this tremendous man.

 Ralph and Rosa moved to Canada many years ago, and they chose Kenora to call home and to start their family. They raised two beautiful daughters, Carmelina and Franca, and one handsome son Luciano. They also brought with them their rich Italian Culture and traditions.

  Ralph worked as a section man at CP Rail, and when at home he would be working in the Garden, or gathering more wood for the wood pile, or redesigning their home in true Italian fashion. Yes two living rooms, two dining rooms and two kitchens. But the one they used, brought family and friends together, with love and hospitality.

   When entering their home It was not unusual to find Rosa and Ralph cranking on that sausage grinder, salting the procuito, or preparing the wine. Trust me, there is nothing better than home made, especially their tasty creations.

  Ralph also took great pride and care of his belongings. He owned a 1967 Pontiac Perisienne that was absolutely mint condition, it had about 27,000 miles on it, and it even smelled new. We even drove that car to a family wedding Chicago. It was awesome!

  Ralph was a quiet and soft spoken gentleman, a thinker with a great sense of humor and wise in his decision making.  Ralph was a very proud man and loved his family with every fibre of his being.

  To Rosa, Carmelina, Roger, Franca, John, Family and Friends, may your hearts be filled with the beautiful memories you shared, and may the sun shine brightly, knowing that we too will join Ralph, Luciano, and all of our ancestors in Heaven.

  Ralph, thank you for sharing your gifts and please give Luch a hug from us.

My heart is broken 💔 for the loss of "Dad" Ralph.  Belfiglios are my 2nd family having spent so many years with them.   There were times that I had to apologize numerous times for keeping Carmel out late, but I was always welcomed back.  I loved hearing all his stories from Italy and catching up on the young and the restless with him when I missed a few episodes. 
He was a very loving husband and father, and friend to all who knew him.  ❤️   He will be remembered in our hearts and in the memories we will be sharing about him.  He is now once again reunited with his son and the rest of his family.
My you go in peace Dad, and don't worry about Mom, we are here to look after her. 
I know you will be watching down to make sure of that.  Say hello to Luciano ,  we miss you both. 😔
