Bob is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Beverly (Kantola) Wilcox, his son Barry Wilcox, daughter-in-law Roberta Giesbrecht, grandchildren Dylan Wilcox and Melissa Wilcox, his sister Pauline (Larry) Switzer and many more nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Douglas Wilcox, James Wilcox, his sister Margaret Stevenson, sisters-in-law Martha Wilcox and Florence Wilcox.
Bob relocated to Kenora with his family when he was six years old, growing up fast at the CPR round house/Green Houses where his father worked as a groundskeeper until they moved to the Transmitter Road.
Bob began his career at Vacationland Dairy as a young teenager and continued to be employed with Vacationland until the doors closed in 2000 for a total of 40 years.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing, ice fishing and spending time with family and friends. Post retirement, Bob especially enjoyed coffee with his buddies.
The family would like to thank Pinecrest Home staff for their dedication and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kenora Cat Shelter. Lake of the Woods District Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
