With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, niece and relative, Ronalda Laurie Paul, aged fifty-six years old, with loved ones by her side at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora, Ontario on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.
Ronalda had a deeply caring spirit and unconditional love for her family. Despite life’s hardships, she possessed incredible strength. Her love for her children, Lance, Shane, Camryn and Keegan, was her driving force, and she did anything so could for them. Her grandchildren also brought her feelings of joy and happiness, and she cherished every moment she had with them. Her love extended to her entire family, who she cared very deeply for. She faced many challenges in life, but her love and strength defined her and will forever be remembered.
She found joy in cooking for her kids anytime she had a chance and spending time with them. She loved playing golf at White moose during his and hers golf nights. She also loved listening to all kinds of music and loved to sing karaoke with her sister Bev or other family members or friends, and she also worked at the daycare for several years and loved when the kids called her teacher. She loved to socialize with her friends over the years, she thrived on connecting with people and enjoyed good company. She had a gift of making people feel welcomed and valued, and her laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
She bravely battled addiction, a struggle that presented significant obstacles. While this journey was often difficult, it does not diminish the love and kindness she offered to those around her. We acknowledge the complexities of her experience and remember the women who, despite her struggles, had a heart full of love.
Predeceased by her Grandparents David Paul Sr., Mary Louise Paul-Bluebird, Isaac Paypompee, Ida Oshie, her parents Tommy Paypompee Jr., and Virginia Paul, her son Lance Tom, niece Kirbi Delanie, nephew Russell Jr.
