Samantha’s life was defined by love – love for her family, love for her community, and love for life itself. As a loving and nurturing spirit, she extended that love beyond her own children as she also served as a mother figure to her nieces and nephews. She dedicated her life to being a Family Support Worker and previously served as a Treaty 3 police board member. Samantha loved the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, golfing, shopping, and sewing. She had a great sense of humor; she loved making others laugh. She was a fun-loving crazy woman. To the world, you were a mother, but to your family, you were the world.
Samantha’s favorite quotes: “When you were born, you cried, and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.”
