Sharon Alice Paypom

December 9, 1982 – April 25, 2025

Sharon Paypom, a resident of Washagamis Bay First Nation passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre.

She was predeceased by her dad Casey Sr., Kookum Barbara, grandpa Russel, aunts Rose, Valene, Adele, Jeanie, Yvonne, Michaela, Marilyn, uncles Luke, Dougie, Alex, Clarence and George.

She is survived by her mother Mary Rose Lenoir (Marty), her siblings Casey Jr. (Ida), Christopher (Gina), Peter (Reannah), Amber Lenoir, Shawn Lenoir, nieces/nephews Atlas Paypom and Reign Paypom, Onyx Paypom, Lyndon, Unique, Kyra, Brayleigh, Theory, Mirakle, Cleo and James, as well as aunts Ruth (Roger), Rosalind (Bob), Susan, Lydia (Richard), Shannon, Michell, Linda and Delores (Richard) Sinclair , uncles Allen, Carl, Nathan and Eric (Michelle) Sinclair. Her cousins Aaron, Russel, Adrian, Travis, Dawnlee, Kiersten, Tracey, Everett, John, Myrna, Hayden, Natalya, Warren, Barb, Paradise, River, Tameeka, Creedance, Saneeka, Aurora and Adraus.

Sharon enjoyed beading, arts and crafts. She loved her nephews Atlas and Reign. She liked going for walks and rides, she liked collecting movies and loved taking pictures, her favourite character was Winnie the Pooh, she loved her cat Kurt. Sharon loved anything potatoes and being around family especially at Christmas time.

Pallbearers will be Jr., Chris, Peter, Shawn, Reo and Lyndon.

Wake service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm at the Washagamis Bay Band Office. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Washagamis Bay Band Office with burial to follow.
