Trey unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in the vicinity of Kenora, Ontario.
Greeting him at the Hunting Grounds are his Great-Grandparents Marie Graham & Jim Swain, Henry & Evelyn Land, Camille Fobister & Amanda Hyacinthe, Peter & Marie Loon, Grandparents Ronald Keesick, Beverly Assin, Russell & Marilyn Loon, Dad Stedman Loon, Brother Pauly, Shoomish Carlo, Kookum Audrey, Uncles Quentin, Leroy, Damien, Auntie Wanda, Nephews Matthew and Khaydyn and many more family members too numerous to mention.
Trey will be lovingly remembered by his mom Tina (John), siblings Andrea (Kenneth), Kambria, Josie, Paxton, Charmaine (Dean), Cleo, 2nd Mom Miranda (Chad), Aunties Anita (Jason), Valerie, Trisha, Charlotte, Kookums Maryann, Maria, Lillian, Laura Lee, Gloria K., Brenda Kejick, Tammy K., other moms Amy, Chrissy (Nate), nephews Stedman, Caio, Chester, Connor, nieces Avera, Avery, cousins Babiiwe, Miki, Noden, Konrad, Kristin, Tyson, Knoa, Kaitlyn and many more from the Loon, Assin, Hyacinthe, Fobister, Keesick (Kejick) and Swain family trees.
He will also be missed by his besties Hailey Loon, Corissa Swain and Missy Muckle.
Trey was a kind-hearted 2 Spirited beautiful Soul. He was a handsome young man who loved to make people laugh with his humour. He enjoyed writing as a hobby. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family making memorable moments.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. A wake service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 will be held at the Trappers Building in Grassy Narrows First Nation beginning at 2:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00am at the Trappers Building in Grassy Narrows First Nation with cremation to follow.
