William Kendall Gibson
November 21, 1983 – June 10, 2015
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Will, on June 10, 2015. He will be forever loved by his parents Kelly Gibson (Molly Stouffer), Sally Kendall (Bob Jessiman), sister Jenny (Jason Tittlemier) and their newborn daughter Allie, brother Charlie (Danielle Paulson), Auntie Pat (Tim Fleury, Michael, Tim, Darla, Timea), Auntie Jan (Rob Bennett, Abby, Hannah), Auntie Nana Kendall (Brownsville, TX), Uncle Ozzie Kendall (Sitka, AK), extended family and many friends.
Will's kind and fun-loving nature was evident throughout his life, whether he was entertaining his classmates as a young boy, or telling stories about his adventures while working or travelling in other parts of Canada. There was quite often a "Will" story, with accompanying antics, that would always get us laughing. As he said many times, "Where there's a Will, there's a way"!
Family was especially important to Will - we cherish the many happy times we spent together over dinners, holidays, drop-in visits, work projects with his uncles, and good times with his cousins. Will was always part of the lively conversations that ensued, and quite often he would even throw in a couple of card and magic tricks that the rest of us could never figure out.
Will enjoyed living close to nature and especially loved his cabin in Minaki, which he made so warm and inviting. Will holds a special place in each of our hearts, and will be forever loved.
An informal "Come & Go" get-together will be held at Gunn Lake Lodge, in Minaki, on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 2pm to 5pm.
