Zhannel was born at the LOTW District Hospital and raised in Naotkamegwanning First Nation. Zhannel was a very gentle, loving, soft-spoken, generous and thoughtful person, she was creative, spontaneous, outgoing, and courageous, she had huge heart of gold. She loved to laugh and had this infectious smile. She loved to spend time with her children, they are her pride and joy, they would go swimming, she would watch the boys play hockey, roasting marshmallows & wieners, having bonfires, she was so proud watching her boys achieve their goals. Zhannel and Jermaine were like two peas in a pod, best friends forever; she was into fashion & facial cosmetics and always had fun posing and modelling for her sister Jermaine. They loved getting dressed up for events and loved to travel, having Sunday dinners with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing volleyball. Zhannel graduated from Grade 12 at Baibombeh School with Honours and was studying to become a masseuse therapist.
The family would like to Thank Naotkamegwanning First Nation, Health Services, and all medical staff at the Regina General Hospital, Anne Shebagegit for her time and effort in putting on a bingo for the family and all those that have helped & prayed for Zhannel and the Family.
