Louretta Kay Weatherson was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 09th, 1940 to Velma and Ora Peters. She graduated from Hanford Union High School and, soon after, married Gerald Thomas Weatherson of Kerman, California on May 13th, 1958.
From a young age, Louretta passionately built her secretarial career at the Kerman Co-Op Gin & Warehouse; she loved her work there. Her hobbies included beach-going, buttons, and shopping.
In 1971, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and in the end, succumbed to complications of the disease. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Mother’s Day, May 10th, 2020. Louretta Kay Weatherson was a beautiful ray of sunshine during her 79 years on this Earth.
Her parents, two sisters, and one granddaughter preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband, three children, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren (with a seventh on the way), and many, many more.
