I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill and I grew up together in Creighton and played baseball together, a sport we both loved. Though Bill was 2 years younger, the coach added him to the Legion Midgets roster for the tournament so we would have an extra player if needed. I also knew Bill from the Creighton Swimming Pool and we shared many good times. May you take comfort in your memories.

So very sorry to hear about your loss. We promise prayers for all of you. Bill was my cousin. SO MANY fond memories from our delightful childhood! Altho' our families lived many miles apart, we spent time together at least once or twice a year. He was always the trouble-maker (and the most fun!) as we were growing up. Then, as an adult, he was always the most helpful, understanding and generous of all. I will always cherish his kind and loving words, especially when my dad passed away many years ago. Our deepest sympathy to you, Sue and your beautiful family; and to Kathy and David. May he be greeted in heaven by Jim and all the others! Rest in peace, dear Cousin.

I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter and myself live across the street. We didn't get to know Bill (Sue) that well. He came over a few times when he saw me struggling with something. I remember him using his charger on my vehicles battery when he saw it wouldn't start. He dug us out after a blizzard. My favorite memory, which makes me laugh, was when I had received a riding lawn mower and couldn't figure it out. Im not sure how long Bill had seen me struggling but as he was walking over, he was laughing his head off. He moved a lever on the mower and off i went. I was embarrassed at that moment but afterwards it made me laugh also. To this day, I still laugh at that memory. He was so thoughtful and caring. I wished I would have gotten to know him and his wife better.
Sue, if you ever need anything or just to talk, come over anytime. I can understand some of the loss your going through. I lost my husband (solemate) December 4th 2013.
