Barbara Irene Geiger

Barb worked for years as a CAD operator for True Fit Trouser in Traverse City. She enjoyed ceramic painting and watching wildlife, especially birds. Barb often crocheted hats, slippers, and afghans for the needy.

Barb is survived by her mother, Helen Kitchenhoff, of Traverse City; children: Michael (Zelma) Zielke, of Merritt, Cheryl (Wayne) Miller, of Davisburg, and Patricia Zielke, of Houghton Lake; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Leo; brother, Calvin L. Kitchenhoff; and husband, Donald Lane Geiger.

A funeral will be held for Barb at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Covell Funeral Home in Kingsley, with visitation two hours prior. Burial will take place in the spring at Barnum Cemetery in Mayfield.

Memorial contributions in Barb's name may be directed to the family.
