she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed
Proverbs 31:25-28
Our Mama went Home to Heaven on December 28, 2025. Adamae Quillin was born in Monroe County, Pennsylvania on June 7, 1940.
She was a member of Herman United Methodist Church and retired from Rental Uniform where she worked 20+ years. Mama’s joy was her family and she loved feeding people! She was a gracious host and everyone was always welcome! By example, Mama taught us strength, courage, confidence, loyalty, and love.
Mama was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ada Rose Arnold, brothers, Earl and Kenneth Arnold, sister, Jeanne Bruck, husband William Ray Triplett, husband Kyle Quillin, and son-in-law, Roger Linkous.
Left to carry on Mama’s legacy of family, faith, and love are her daughters Kitty Bear (David), Dolly Linkous, Angel Kilgore, and Kyla Hounshell (Jon), six grandchildren, Quinn Kilgore, Emily Hayworth (Austin), Shane Kilgore, Mark Kilgore (Andrea), Finnegan Hounshell, Harrison Hounshell, ten great-grandchildren, sister, Joann Everett, and several nieces and nephews.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Gentiva Hospice and The Village at Allandale. Thank you also to Mama’s home caregivers Mina Williams and Janet Robinson. They all loved and cared for her like she was their own and joined with us to walk Mama Home.
Because Mama shared her love through food, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Table ministry at 510 Gibson Mill Road, Kingsport TN 37660.
A Graveside Committal service will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park, located at 4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN, 37664, on December 31, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Garden of Hope.
East Lawn Funeral Home is honored to take care of Mrs. Adamae Quillin's family at this time.
