Angela D. Long

Mrs. Angela D. Long, age 58, of Piney Flats, TN passed away Thursday June 5, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Long was born in Heidelberg, Germany, the daughter of Ernestine Angenier Dotson and the late Fred Dotson. Prior to her death, Mrs. Long was employed with Eastman Chemicals for over 31 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Jarret Long and she was married to Steven Kirk Long who survives. Surviving are her husband, Mr. Steven Kirk Long. Two sons, Brent Long and his wife Aimee and Dustan Long and his wife Renee. One brother, Leonard Dotson. One sister, Loraine Cornett and her husband Tom. Four grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services for Mrs. Long will be conducted on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Garden of Everlasting Life in East Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Roy Graves officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family lovingly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
