Betty Webb Rutledge, age 84, of Blountville, entered into rest on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Franklin Woods Community Hospital in Johnson City. Mrs. Rutledge was a native of Sullivan County and the daughter of the late Paul Henry and Ruby Bishop Webb. She, along with her husband attended Blountville Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Charles Rutledge; son, Chet Rutledge and wife Julie of Springdale, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Jacob Rutledge and Maggie Rutledge, both of Springdale, Arkansas; and a brother, Bill Webb and wife Betty, of Blountville.
Graveside services for Mrs. Rutledge will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in East Lawn Memorial Park in the Garden of the Apostles.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607-1460.
