Dr. C. David Greene

Dr. C. David Greene, age 59, was taken to be with the Lord June 2, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was born in Knoxville, a son to Elmer and Jayne Hawkins Greene. He was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. David was an Anesthesiologist with Holston Anesthesia Associates. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Kingsport. David was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Elmer Albert Greene. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, René Greene of Kingsport; four sons, David A. Greene and wife Hannah of Kingsport, Michael Greene and wife Rachel of Dearborn, MI., Matthew Greene and Ethan Greene both of Kingsport; two daughters, Emma Greene and Olivia Greene both of Kingsport; four grandchildren, X. Renée Greene, Sarah Katherine Greene, Charles David Greene, II, and Sophia R. Greene; mother, Jayne Greene of Kingsport; one sister, Anna Greene Sawyer of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Kingsport, with the family receiving friends after the service.
