Christopher Shane Spears

Christopher Shane Spears, 39, of Kingsport, was accepted into his Heavenly Fathers arms on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a Lake Charles LA native, and moved to the Kingsport area in 2006. Shane was the son of Kenneth Ray and Diana Dale Spears.

Mr. Spears was an Art Teacher at Emmett Elementary School, where he was a wonderful teacher, who was loved by all of his students. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter and had a passion for photography. Shane was a loving and caring husband and father. He attended Christ Fellowship Church in Kingsport.

Survivors other than his parents, include his wife of 13 years, Katherine Spears, a daughter, Madelyne Rose Spears, and one sister, Lori Spears Strahan.

A Celebration of Life Service for Christopher Shane Spears will be conducted on Sunday, December 18, 2011, from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm at Christ Fellowship Church, 260 Victory Lane, Kingsport, Tennessee 37664.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Katherine Spears, 394 Mesa Drive, Kingsport, Tennessee, 37664 to assist with funeral expenses and medical bills.
