David E. Collins, 62, of Kingsport, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Lakebridge Healthcare in Johnson City after a brief illness. He was a devout follower of Christ of the Baptist faith and enjoyed living his life to the fullest and helping his father on the farm.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Nida Mae “Bunny” Collins; step-mother, Inez Collins; maternal and paternal grandparents; Paul and Beluah Hamblen; James H. & Rose E. Collins; along with other beloved family members.
Survivors include his father, Hicks E. Collins; brother, Daniel S. Collins; aunt, R.H. Susie Hyder; and several beloved family members and friends.
The Collins family will honor David’s life with a Graveside Service on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the Garden of Love in East Lawn Memorial Park beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.
