Doris Ann Miller

Doris Ann Miller, 76, entered into the arms of Jesus during the morning hours of Thursday (July 9, 2020) surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born on January 28, 1944 in Church Hill, TN to the late Luther William & Virgie Mae (Christian) Skelton.

Doris enjoyed spending time at home canning and gardening. She was a dedicated Walmart employee for 18 years. She attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two sisters, Elva Phipps and Bonnie Ward.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 38 years, David Miller; son, Terry Gibson & wife Heather; two daughters, Sandra Benton & husband Phillip and Sherry Chee & husband Les; two sisters, Yvonne Edison and Clora Bass; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Doris will be laid to rest on Sunday (July 12, 2020) at 2 p.m. in the Garden of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Dwayne Locklear officiating.
