Eleanor Booker, 86, of Blountville, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Greystone Health Care after a long illness. Born on August 2, 1929 in Fall Branch, TN, she was the daughter of the late George W. Hickman and Delphia Mae Hite Hickman. She is survived by her daughters Penny Love and husband, Norman of Blountville, and Linda Rosenbalm and husband, Glen of Bristol; a son; sisters and sisters-in-law, Doris Whitaker of Blountville, Bev McClain of Bristol, Janis Hobbs of Gate City, and Mae Hickman; many nieces and nephews; and her dog, Nicholas. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Garden of Everlasting Life I of East Lawn Memorial Park. At Eleanor’s request, please no flowers.
