Helen Marie Vaughn

Helen Marie Davis Vaughn was born on August 14, 1935 in Rose Ann, Virginia and passed away on October 23, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Roy Lawson Davis and Edna Francis Smith Davis. Marie was a homemaker and a faithful church member. Before her illness, Marie loved being around children and animals. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, Roy Lawson and Edna Francis Smith Davis, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Vaughn. She is survived by her son, Michael Vaughn and his wife, Tammy; grandson, Ben Vaughn; stepson, Willard Vaughn and his wife, Linda, and their son, Richard Vaughn and family; and her sister, Wanda Jones and her husband, Elmer and family. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon, October 26, 2015 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Words of Comfort will be shared following the visitation at 1:45 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Everlasting Life III of East Lawn Memorial Park.
