Mrs. Janet Lee Stetson-Harper, age 72, of Afton, TN, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Harper was born on July 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Arthur Delbert and Irene William Stetson. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her beloved husband, Mr. Melvin Lee Harper. One son, David Harper and his wife Cynthia of Afton, TN. One daughter, Vicki Lynn Sant and her husband Mark of Piney Flats. One brother, Malcolm Stetson of Houston, Texas. Grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Anderson, Michael Sant, Timothy (Ashley) Sant, Brandon Harper, Haley Harper and great grandchild, Aiden Martinez. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday July 7, 2014 at 8 p.m. from the chapel of the East Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday. Burial will follow on Tuesday morning at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Those desiring to attend the graveside service should assemble at the Mountain Home National Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
