Janis Wade, age 58 of Kingsport went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 16, 2010 with her family and friends by her side at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Janis is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Beatrice Fox and a brother Emmett Pete Fox Jr.

Survivors include husband of 40 ½ years Gary E. Wade of the home, Son, Gary L. Wade and wife Apryle of Kingsport, Daughters, Teresa Moore and husband David of Kingsport and Mitzy Wade of the home, Two Grandsons Robert Moore and Gary Wade, Brother, Roy fox and wife Norma of San Antone, Tx, Sisters, Tenna Martin and husband Jerry of Oddmore, OK and Misty Fox of TX, Aunt, Beaulah Ivey of Asbury, TX and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel at East Lawn Funeral Home with Chaplin Eric Jewett of Smokey mountain Hospice officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Charlie Frazier.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Matt Price, Chris Moody, Patrick Cox, David Moore, Mark Jones and Robert Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Zimmerman, Bobby Harmon, Rocky wade and David Frazier.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice, 4209 Fort Henry Dr., Kingsport, Tennessee, 37663.
