Jeanne Baker Cole

Jeanne Baker Cole, 68, of Kingsport passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014, at the Christian Care Center of Johnson City. Mrs. Cole was born on February 18, 1946 in Laurel, Maryland the daughter of the late Ralph Baker and Maxie Pratt Baker. She was a housewife and was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended the First Christian Church of Kingsport. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by a brother, Joey Ramberg.

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Dennis “Denny” Cole; one son, Shannon Cole and wife Kimberly, of Conyers, GA; one daughter, Lisa Cole, of Conyers, GA; five grandchildren, Christopher Farthing, Brittany Renee Johnson, Shane Hudson, Matthew Tewksbury, and Lindsey Cole; and two great grandchildren, Kaydence Lynn Farthing and Malachi Johnson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 16, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the East Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside Services for Mrs. Jeanne Baker Cole will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00am in the Garden of the Well of East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Dwight Shaffer officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:45am on Monday for those attending the graveside service.
