Joshua John Paul Blair

Joshua John Paul Blair, 36, of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his home. He worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for twelve years and was devoted to helping others. Joshua had a selfless and giving spirit and showed that through his profession in healthcare.

Aside from his selflessness and passion for caring for others, Joshua was an animal lover of all kinds. He was a thoughtful and giving person with a kind heart. Joshua was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be remembered for his compassionate nature.

Joshua was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Thelma Peters; and paternal grandfather, Paul Blair.

Survivors include his mother, Rhonda Kay Wells (Willie); father, Kenneth Blair (Tammy); brothers, Brandon Blair, Little Brandon Blair; his paternal grandmother, Madge Garland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The Blair family will gather to greet friends and share memories on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the Chapel of East Lawn Funeral Home from 6 pm – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 8 pm with Rev. Rodney Fields officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the Blair family have requested donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Joshua’s memory to: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038.
