Lillian Fleenor

Lillian Fleenor of Kingsport passed away December 21, 2010 at The Oaks.

Lillian was born March 30, 1914 in Russell County, VA., to the late Jasper Moore and Martha Issacs Moore. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bascom Fleenor, three brothers and two sisters, daughters, Patricia Ann Russell and Linda Jane Mann, and granddaughter, Rebecca Mann Samalin. She was a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church for 50 years and was retired from J. C. Penney Company twenty-six years ago.

Surviving are her daughter, Joyce Caldwell and husband Conner and son, Larry Fleenor and wife Susan all of Kingsport. Ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 23, 2010 from 5-7 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, December 24, 2010 at 11:00 am in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the graveside by 10:45 am. Honorary pallbearers will be, Travis Fleenor, Benjamin Fleenor, Jeff McKamey, Andrew McKamey, Tim Mann, and Matthew Ryans, Taylor Godwin, Brandon Osborne, Patrick Hite.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Oaks and Dr. Shelton Hager for their loving care during the past five years.
