

Linda “Sue” Hawkins, age 64 of Kingsport, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Hawkins was a Scott County native and the daughter of the late Joseph and Clarice Million. She was of the Baptist faith and a home maker. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by infant siblings: Glen, Nancy, Teresa, Mary Lou, Tony and Tommy; siblings: T.R. Million, Kate Williams, Ronnie Million, Rick Million, Jane Casteel and Kemper Million.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Wayne Hawkins; daughter, Cindy Hawkins Collins and her husband, Kevin; one grand daughter, Lacy Collins Odom and her husband Chandler; and great grandson Jaxon Odom sisters: Betty Collier of Kingsport and Sharon Blair and her husband Scotty of Kingsport, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Hawkins will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh and Rev. Ed McClain officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The Committal service will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012, at 1:00 pm in the Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Blair, Matt Blair, Terry Collins, Greg Million, David Ketron and Robert Ketron. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery by 12:45 pm. The family will receive friends other times at the home of Cindy Collins.
