Margaret Elizabeth Proctor

Margaret Elizabeth Proctor, 82, of Kingsport, born July 4, 1931, went to be with the Lord September 10, 2013. Elizabeth’s greatest joys were her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. She always welcomed her family with a hug and a wonderful smile. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Proctor, her son, Robert L. Ellison and parents, Luther and Lucy Caughorn; brother, Luther Caughorn, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Faye Powell and husband Bob; daughter-in-law Carolyn Ellison, grandchildren Jeff Powell and wife Lisa, Lisa Grigsby and husband Sean, Beth Waugh and husband Dustin, Kristi Kilgore and husband Randy, Luke Ellison and wife Tammy; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Caughorn, sisters,Charlie Tipton, Mary Helton, Reva Bales, Shirley Whitehead and Diane Childress. Elizabeth was a member of Sullivan Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Strong and Rev. Roy Graves. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Powell, Luke Ellison, Grant Grigsby, Gavin Grigsby, Wesley Waugh, Corbin Kilgore. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sullivan Baptist Church Building Fund.
