Ray Gordon Wade

Ray Gordon Wade, age 65, entered into rest May 9, 2012 at Holston Valley Hospital. Ray was a lifelong resident of Kingsport, and was formerly employed with Ford System and Pro-Clean. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin M. Wade and Minnie Dale Little Wade; sister, Barbara Thomas; and brother, Howard Wade. Survivors include three sons, Ray E. Wade and wife Vicky of Bristol, TN., Daniel Wade and wife Wendy of Mt. Carmel, Amos Ray Wade; one daughter, Tonya McMurray and husband Adam of Fall Branch; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary E. Wade of Kingsport; three sisters, Sue Jones and husband Allen of East Carter’s Valley, Linda Frazier and husband Allen of Blountville, Debbie Price and husband Lonnie of Sullivan Gardens, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home, with inurnment to follow at East Lawn Funeral Memorial Park with the Rev.
