

A native of Clinchport, VA, Mrs. Kitzmiller was born on August 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Coy B. and Sally Kate Johnson Kaylor. She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Sullivan County School System as a secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jerry Kitzmiller on June 4, 1963, by brothers, Bill, Ralph and Roy Kaylor and sister Edna Bishop. Survivors include her children, Richard (Rosemary) Kitzmiller and Karen (Pat) Loven. Her grandchildren, Greg (Sarah), Andy (Beth) and Matt (Karen) Kitzmiller, Katie (Scott) Young, and Patrick Loven. Great-grandchildren, Jack, Evie, Vic, Eli, Nat Kitzmiller, Macy and Landon Young. One brother, James Kaylor of Texas and one sister, Tommie (Joe) Fannon of Atlanta, Georgia. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kitzmiller will be conducted on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the Beulah Baptist Church with her pastor, Rev. Al South officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Beulah Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the East Lawn Funeral Home.
